What Newcastle Disability Forum Does

We meet bimonthly in the Dene Centre near the Freeman Hospital at South Gosforth and in working groups at scheduled intervals to activate and formulate polices designed to improve facilities and access for all disabled people in Newcastle.

See our Constitution

We have been in existence since 1988 and have a good working relationship with City Councillors and various officers including the Chief Executives officers, Social Services officers, Highways and Planning officers, Health Authority Executives and staff, and are represented on local focus groups where disablement or health is involved. Many changes have been achieved over the years.
